Plymouth Argyle: Miron Muslic calls for calm ahead of Luton Town game

Miron Muslic believes remaining calm will be key to his Plymouth Argyle players coming out on top in their “massive” Championship relegation six-pointer against Luton Town.

Plymouth travel to Kenilworth Road on Wednesday night (19:45 GMT) for a vital game in both sides’ attempts to avoid relegation.

Luton are propping up the table on 27 points three points from safety with Plymouth just one point ahead of the Hatters on 28.

Argyle head coach Muslic told BBC Radio Devon: “It’s a massive game for both of us. If you just purely look at the ranking and the table, then you know it’s an important one and it’s a six-point game, no doubt.

“We have to stay calm with a cool, cool mind, but organised and structured at all times, and I think if we can manage to do this, we will have also our opportunities to be successful.”

Muslic is braced for another must-win game for his side but encouraged by how they secured a draw at Sunderland and also victories against West Brom and Millwall in other recent high-stakes league games.

“We have this new mindset in our locker room and in the moment we can just deal better with the pressure,” he added.

“Pressure is part of our game and will remain regardless of the result against Luton.”
