Persian cat climbs three mountains in Three Peaks Challenge

She said Ben Nevis had taken them the longest – that was 11 hours, followed by 10 for Scafell Pike and eight for Snowdon.

“He walked most of the way,” she said.

“When we got above the clouds, we had to carry him because he got cold.”

Ms Peters said she had had Louis for seven years and had started walking him since a kitten.

“He’s a Persian, so the idea was that he is an indoor cat,” she said.

“I started walking him round the garden. He loved it. Then we went out to the woods and he loved it even more.”

They continued their outdoor adventures in woods and parks.

“He just loves being outside,” she shared.
