A 42-year-old pedestrian is in hospital in a serious condition after she was hit by a car in Fife.
On Saturday at about 20:45, officers responded to reports of the incident, which involved the woman and a red Audi A3.
The incident happened on Lochleven Road, Lochore, in Lochgelly.
She was taken to Dundee’s Ninewells hospital, where medical staff have described her condition as serious.
