Britain’s Hannah Cockroft powered to her fourth consecutive T34 100m title to claim her eighth Paralympic gold medal.
Cockroft finished in 16.90 seconds at Stade de France – well ahead of team-mate Kare Adenegan (17.99) with Fabienne Andre, the other Briton in the race, in fifth.
The 32-year-old has dominated the event since making her GB debut in 2011.
Earlier, fellow wheelchair racer Sammi Kinghorn won silver in the T53 800m behind Switzerland’s Catherine Debrunner.
