“[The Flip 6] continues JBL’s tradition of making small tweaks and improvements over previous models,” says CNET’s David Carnoy, who compares it favorably against its previous model, the Flip 5. “In the case of the Flip 6, that means improved sound quality, thanks to the two-way driver (a woofer and tweeter) and dual passive radiators that help it deliver much deeper bass than you might think.” At the time of reviewing, Carnoy also mentioned that the original asking price of $130 was a bit high, but this current discount takes care of that.
