Omagh: Racist sticker on post box treated as hate incident

Police are treating the placement of a sticker with racist comments on a post box in County Tyrone as a hate incident.

The sticker, which features the SS symbol and a stylised image of a family, features the words: “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.”

It is not clear when the sticker was placed on the post box on Knocknamoe Road in Omagh.

A member of the public reported it to police on Tuesday.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
