Ollie Hassell-Collins: Leicester Tigers winger sings new deal

Winger Ollie Hassell-Collins has become the latest Leicester Tigers player to sign a new contract with the Premiership high-flyers.

The 25-year-old is the fourth in as many days to extend his stay, following fellow England international Ollie Chessum, Tonga centre Solomone Kata and Scotland prop Will Hurd.

Hassell-Collins has scored 16 tries in 32 appearances for the East Midlands club since joining them from London Irish in the summer of 2023.

Tigers head coach Michael Cheika says the winger’s six tries in 10 appearances so far this season “shows exactly why we really wanted him” to remain with the club.

“He is a great character in our squad and it’s great that he will be in the green and red going forward,” Cheika told the club website.
