North Wales Police is advising parents to educate their children after a girl rang 999 because she became stuck in a baby swing.
Emergency services call handlers received a plea for help from Old Colwyn, Conwy county, after the child became momentarily trapped and rang them in panic.
“Parents, please take the time to educate your children about when and how to contact the emergency services,” said a force spokesperson.
“Every call like this keeps our operators from answering genuine calls for help and can prevent us getting help to someone who needs it.”
