Nurses face moral distress, depression post-COVID

Nurses working during the COVID-19 pandemic in Wales experienced high levels of moral distress, strongly associated with depression and linked to intentions to leave the profession, according to a new study led by Cardiff University. The researchers surveyed 287 registered nurses and nursing students between October 2021 and April 2022.
