No further action will be taken against two people arrested in connection with the disappearance of a 15-year-old boy over 22 years ago, South Wales Police have said.

Robert Williams from Resolven, Neath Port Talbot, went missing on 22 March 2002.

In September 2023, police said they had arrested a 59-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man in connection with Robert’s disappearance.

It is known that Robert went to a party in nearby Aberdulais the day after he went missing in March 2002, but despite multiple police appeals he has never been found.

Robert’s mum Cheryl made a fresh appeal for information in September 2023 and said she needed “to know what happened” to her son.
