Newtownards: Suspected WW2 bomb found at building site

A suspected bomb which is believed to date back to World War Two has been discovered at a building site in Newtownards, County Down, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has said.

It was found at the Rivenwood housing development on Movilla Road.

The affected part of the site is currently unoccupied so no homes have been evacuated, a police spokesperson said.

No roads have been closed but police are at the scene.
