My Chemical Romance have added further shows in Liverpool and Glasgow to their UK tour next year.

The group previously announced two nights at Wembley Stadium in July 2026 to mark the 20th anniversary of their third album Welcome to the Black Parade.

Now the band will headline Anfield Stadium on 30 June, marking their first Liverpool visit since 2006, before a show at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow on 4 July.

A third night at Wembley on 8 July has also been added, after the first two shows sold out.

Tickets go on sale on Friday at 12:00, while new gigs have also been announced for across North America.

Tours of South America and Asia had already been confirmed.

Rock opera concept album The Black Parade was met with both critical and commercial success, achieving multi-platinum certification in both the US and the UK after being released in 2006.

The group later broke up in 2013, before reuniting in 2019. A tour for the following year eventually took place in 2022 after being delayed due to the Covid pandemic.

A tour across North America earlier this year sold more than 450,000 tickets and was praised by critics in publications like Variety, the Hollywood Reporter and the Los Angeles Times.

Bellahouston Park regularly holds gigs in Glasgow throughout the summer.

This year’s line-up of gigs – under the Summer Sessions banner – were affected by a strike involving workers on the Glasgow underground.

Fans faced disruption trying to attend shows by Sting, Simple Minds and Stereophonics.
