Murder arrest after baby found dead in central London

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a baby was found in central London.

Officers were called to Taviton Street, in the Euston area, at 14:00 BST on Monday to reports of a “concern for welfare”, the Met Police said.

The London Ambulance Service also attended but the baby was found deceased.

A man was detained at the scene and was taken into custody.
