‘Much loved’ man died after being hit by vehicle

Tributes have been paid to a “much loved” man who died after being struck by a vehicle in Fife last month.

David Whitehurst, 61, was pronounced dead at the scene after the incident which happened in the Forth Place area of Burntisland at about 21:20 on 27 January.

Mr Whitehurst, from Edinburgh, was “very much loved by family and everyone that knew him”, according to a statement from family members.

Police inquiries into the incident continue.
