Police are attending a security alert in Millisle, County Down, after receiving a report that a device has been left in a field near a caravan site.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) say access to a nearby caravan site on Donaghadee Road in the village has been restricted “to ensure the safety of everyone in the area.”
In a post on social media, Seaview Caravan Park said the police told them “the site will be closed for a few hours”.
“Unfortunately no one is getting in or out,” they added.
Traffic has not been affected.
