Men arrested after woman badly injured in Bradford city centre crash

Two men have been arrested after a woman was seriously injured when she was hit by a car in Bradford city centre.

The suspects, both 25, were arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and attempting to pervert the course of justice, West Yorkshire Police said.

The woman, in her 30s, was hit by a car at the junction of Godwin Street and Sunbridge Road on 12 April.

Police confirmed the men had been released on bail and appealed for any witnesses to get in touch.
