Oasis fans are split over ticket prices for the band’s homecoming concerts in Manchester next summer.
The cheapest ticket for the Heaton Park gigs next July will be £148.50 – for standing only.
On the streets of Manchester, fans’ reactions ranged from the scandalised – “ridiculous” and “maybe they forgot who their fans were” – to the pragmatic, with one saying, “it’s a special occasion”.
Another fan admitted he would still try “100%” to get a ticket, despite saying the prices were “ludicrous” and “a bit too much”.
Tickets at other venues, including Cardiff and Dublin, start at £73 for seats.
