Man who died in West Lothian road crash is named

A 20-year-old Dunfermline man who died in a car crash in West Lothian has been named by police.

Gareth Hempseed was the passenger in a black Audi S1 that crashed on Auldhill Road in Bridgend near Linlithgow.

The driver of the vehicle, a 23-year-old man, was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment. He has since been released.

The incident happened about 20:35 on Monday.
