Man jailed for raping women in Shetland and Orkney

A man has been jailed for 11 years for raping two women in Shetland and Orkney.

Sean Casey, 69, was found guilty of attacks on the woman in Shetland between 1984 and 2016.

He raped the second woman in Orkney and Shetland in 1998.

Police Scotland welcomed the verdicts at the High Court in Aberdeen and said Casey would now “face the consequences” of his actions.
