A 53-year-old man has appeared in court in Glasgow in connection with the death of a man whose remains were found in Loch Lomond.
Graham Wright, 38, was last seen in the Gorbals area of Glasgow, on 20 August.
His remains were found at the Rubha Dubh, near Firkin Point, on 13 September.
John Roarty appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday charged with attempting to defeat the ends of justice and was remanded in custody.
He will appear in court again within the next eight days.
Earlier, detectives said the death was being treated as unexplained.
A charge of attempting to defeat the ends of justice can include crimes where the accused has given false information or made efforts to destroy or hide evidence.
