Man dies in motorbike crash with lorry and car in Earlston

A 70-year-old man has died after his motorbike was in a collision with a car and a lorry in the Borders.

The crash happened on the A68 at Earlston at about 12:20 on Wednesday and involved the man’s red and cream Moto Guzzi motorbike, a silver Ford Eco-sport, and a white DAF lorry.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. No-one else was injured and the road was closed until about 17:30.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
