Man charged with attempted murder after people hit by car

A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after several people were injured by a car in Moray.

Police were called to Cluny Square, Buckie, at about 02:00 on Saturday.

Christopher Parry, 56, appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court, where he faced four charges of attempted murder, and a driving under the influence charge.

He made no plea and was released on bail.
