A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of a female police officer in West Dunbartonshire.
The arrest comes after officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Bannerman Place in Clydebank at about 21:00 on Sunday 5 January.
A female officer was hit by the vehicle as it was driven away.
She was taken to hospital for treatment and later released.
