Man charged after police seize £300,000 haul of cannabis

A man has been charged after cannabis said to be worth more than £300,000 was recovered in the north east of Scotland.

Police said officers discovered a cultivation at a property on High Street in Cuminestown.

A second recovery was made from Haremoss Drive in Portlethen, and a “large number” of cannabis plants were also found at Glenbervie Road in Aberdeen.

Police Scotland said a 32-year-old man was due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in connection with the discoveries.
