A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged over the death of David Graham, who was found with fatal injuries on a street in South Lanarkshire.
Mr Graham, 38, from Cambuslang, was walking alone in General’s Gate in Uddingston when he was attacked at about 19:30 on Sunday.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police launched a murder inquiry earlier this week following a post-mortem examination and inquiries are ongoing.
