Detectives have arrested a man after the body of a woman was discovered following a fire in a Dundee flat.
The 37-year-old was found in the city’s Byron Street after the alarm was raised at about 07:25.
Police activity throughout the day in nearby Kenmore Gardens and Glenagnes Road – which is more than a mile away from the scene of the fire – was linked to the same investigation.
Officers have now confirmed a 26-year-old suspect is in custody.
