A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of his uncle.
Corin Harper-Davis, 36, of Dermody Road, Hither Green, London, is accused of murdering 64-year-old Jonathan Harper in Brampford Speke, near Exeter.
Officers were called to Sandy Lane at about 20:50 BST on Wednesday, said Devon and Cornwall Police.
Mr Harper-Davis is also accused of assaulting a police officer during the same alleged incident. No pleas were entered during the hearing at Exeter Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
