Man, 35, dies and two injured in Livingston crash

The crash happened at the junction of Knightsridge East Road and Lindsay Way

A 35-year-old man has died in a single-vehicle crash in Livingston.

A grey Audi A6 crashed at the junction of Knightsridge East Road and Lindsay Way at about 20:30 on Thursday.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Two male passengers, aged 24 and 17, were taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.

The road was closed to allow investigations to be carried out and was reopened at about 04:50 on Friday.

Sgt Christopher Bright appealed for witnesses to contact police.

“In addition, anyone with dashcam footage is asked to get in touch as this may be able to assist,” he added.
