Man, 27, dies after stabbing in Glasgow

A 27-year-old man has died following an assault in Glasgow on Saturday.

Police received a report around 17:00 of a man being attacked and stabbed on Saracen Street in Possil.

Emergency services attended and transported the man to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he later died.

The death is being treated as suspicious and police are conducting inquiries about two men they believe were involved in the attack.

The first suspect is described as white, in his 30s, wearing a light blue top and black shorts.

The second suspect is white, also in his 30s and wearing a white top with black shorts and back trainers.

Police Scotland are reviewing CCTV footage from the area and ask any members of the public with additional information to get in touch, external.
