A rowing team had a surprise visitor during a recent practice session – a malnourished sea lion jumped into a boat with two students in it.
The incident happened in at California’s Marina del Rey, where the University of California, Los Angeles rrowing team practices.
The animal stayed in the boat for more than 15 minutes and was later taken to the Marine Mammal Care Center, where it is receiving medical care.
