Lux nightclub death: Tributes to beauty trainee Chloe Ferris

Ms Ferris was a trainee at Enhance Belfast, a beauty training academy.

In an online tribute, it described her as a “lovely student” and said her sudden death was “absolutely heartbreaking”.

One mourner wrote: “I had the privilege to teach Chloe. She was such a bubbly, bright and beautiful girl.”

Chloe was a former pupil of St Clare’s Primary School in Belfast.

In a Facebook post, its staff sent their “deepest sympathy to her mum, dad and brothers at this heartbreaking time”.

The school issued a statement saying Chloe will not be forgotten and always had a smile on her face.

“Chloe is fondly remembered by her teachers… as a warm, positive and bubbly girl,” they said.

The school also commented on how Chloe had “shone on stage” in a production of ‘Grease’.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Lux nightclub said: “Our thoughts and sympathies are with the parents and family during this very difficult time.”
