Louie Hennessey: Bath centre signs ‘long-term’ contract extension

Bath centre Louie Hennessey has signed a new “long-term” contract with the Premiership club.

The 20-year-old has made 10 appearances for Bath since joining them from Cardiff Rugby’s academy in 2022.

He scored two tries during the win against neighbours Bristol in the Premiership Rugby Cup last weekend, one of three games he has featured in this season so far.

Hennessey has also represented Wales at under-20 level, scoring six tries in 17 games in the past two years.

Bath have not disclosed the length of his new deal.

“He is an exceptional talent and his hunger to improve is an attribute Louie has, which I love in a player,” head of rugby Johann van Graan told the club website., external
