Police Scotland said it was alerted to the collision at South Laggan, south of Invergarry, at about 16:20 on Wednesday.

A passenger in the car was taken to hospital.

Police said the lorry drivers, a 36-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, were charged in connection with a driving offence.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said two appliances and a heavy rescue unit were sent to the incident.
