Londonderry: Man extradited from US appears in court

A man extradited from the United States has appeared at Londonderry Magistrates’ Court on charges, including robbing a fast food outlet and assaulting police.

Stewart McAllister, 29, of no fixed abode, is also charged with having an offensive weapon, possessing cocaine with intent to supply and driving offences.

They are said to have happened on 4 September 2016.

A further charge of assaulting a police officer relates to an incident on 6 September of the same year.
