Leigh-on-Sea mum diagnosed with cancer after daughter spots mole

Natasha said the thickness of her mole was a “very large” 6.3mm (0.24ins).

“Without Maisy spotting my mole who knows what would have happened,” she added.

The mother was later told she needed “intense treatment” as the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes.

She was left with a 10cm (3.93ins) scar after the mole was removed under general anaesthetic.

“Being diagnosed with skin cancer was a huge shock and a very difficult time for me,” Natasha added.

“As a family we went through so much, and that’s why I’m sharing my story to help spare others from similar heartache.”
