Leeds: Woman released on bail after car set on fire with children inside

A woman has been released on bail after being arrested by police investigating an incident in which a car was set on fire with two children inside.

Officers were called to Tong Way in the Farnley area of Leeds at about 22:50 BST on Thursday to reports of a vehicle being set alight.

The mother of the children and a neighbour brought the uninjured pair to safety and they were assessed by ambulance staff, West Yorkshire Police said.

A 19-year-old woman held on suspicion of arson was bailed pending further inquiries, the force said.
