Last Vauxhall van rolls off Luton production line

Workers clapped and cheered as the final van to be produced at Luton’s Vauxhall plant rolled off the production line.

Vehicle production at the plant came to an end at about 12:40 GMT on Friday after 120 years of the company being based in the town.

One worker said it was the “end of an era”.
