The point was Wrexham’s first of the season, having returned to the second tier of English football for the first time in 43 years.

Phil Parkinson’s side began the season with defeats against Southampton and West Bromwich Albion.

And Moore was keen to take the positives from their draw, despite the circumstances in which it happened.

“The way we played in the first half, that is the foundation that we can build on,” added Moore.

“There are new faces in the building, it’s going to take time to gel, and we need to do that quicker.

“Pressure is a privilege, to have that on your shoulders and wear this shirt is a massive honour.

“Each and every one of us will use that and we will improve as a team and the results will come.”
