Keady: Person airlifted to hospital after workplace incident

Crews from Keady and Armagh assisted the ambulance service at the scene.

NIAS said that after assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken by air ambulance to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

It said it had “despatched two rapid response paramedics, one advanced paramedic, emergency crews and one HART crew to the incident”.

The Southern Health Trust said it was “aware of an incident this morning at the Willowbank facility in Keady which has been reported to the PSNI and the Health and Safety Executive NI”.

The Health and Safety Executive NI said it had “been made aware of an incident that occurred this morning in the Keady area and are attending the scene”.
