Joe Cator: Hull FC loose-forward released by Super League club

Hull FC loose-forward Joe Cator has been released by the Super League club with immediate effect to “pursue playing opportunities elsewhere”.

The 26-year-old was out of contract at the end of the season and is expected to join a new club for the rest of the campaign.

Cator began his career at Hull KR but joined the Black and Whites before the 2020 season and has made 60 appearances for the club.

His current season has been interrupted by hamstring and back injuries, limiting him to just six games.

Hull FC lie second-bottom of Super League with only three wins from 19 games and they host St Helens on Saturday.
