Arsenal defender Jen Beattie has signed for National Women’s Soccer League club Bay FC.

Beattie moves to the United States after eight years with the Gunners across two spells and has won the Women’s Super League, two FA Cups and three League Cups.

“Jen has had a beautiful career with Arsenal,” said the club’s sporting director Edu Gaspar.

Beattie, 32, scored 33 goals in 166 appearances in total for the Gunners.

“We want to say a big thank you for her many years with us,” added Edu. “She has helped to bring titles to our club and, as a person, she is a great example of strength.”

Beattie, who also played for Montpellier and Manchester City, retired from international duty with Scotland in 2023 after making 143 appearances.
