Gloucestershire white-ball captain Jack Taylor has signed a two-year contract extension.

Having signed a deal to the end of 2026 almost two years ago, the extension keeps the 33-year-old at the club until the end of the 2028 season.

Taylor made his debut in 2010 and has spent his entire career at Gloucestershire.

He led the club to the 2024 T20 Blast title and was player of the match as they won the 2015 One-Day Cup.

Taylor has scored 8,667 runs in his career, including 10 centuries, while also taking 160 wickets.

“This club has been a big part of my life for a long time now,” he told the club website, external.

“Last season’s success was a special moment for all of us, and it’s definitely added to the motivation to keep pushing forward.

“I still have plenty to offer, both with the bat and the ball, and in supporting the younger lads coming through.”
