A suspected member of the Kinahan organised crime gang has been extradited to the UK to stand trial on alleged firearms offences.

Jack Kavanagh, 24, of Tamworth, was arrested in May 2023 at Malaga Airport by the Spanish National Police, as he was travelling from Dubai to Turkey.

The National Crime Agency (NCA) said that he was escorted back to the UK by its officers last week.
