Hundreds arrive in Bristol city centre for two rival protests

Protesters have been heard singing Rule Britannia, “England ’til I die” and “we want our country back”.

Meanwhile, anti-racism campaigners have been chanting “refugees are welcome here”.

Beer cans have been thrown at the anti-racist group, and some of the rival protesters were baton-charged by officers.
