Human remains found in Cumbria belong to Paul Taylor

Human remains found in woodlands belong to a man who went missing after driving from Scotland to England, police have confirmed.

Paul Taylor, 56, was last seen in Carlisle, Cumbria, on 17 October, after leaving his address in Annan at about 21:45 GMT the same evening.

Human remains were found in the area of Finglandrigg Wood, off the B5307 west of Carlisle earlier in May.

Cumbria Police said Mr Taylor’s family had been informed.
