How parties feel about first general election debate

The BBC’s chief political correspondent Henry Zeffman reveals how the parties are feeling ahead of the first general election TV debate.

The head-to-head debate between Sir Keir Starmer and Rishi Sunak will be broadcast by ITV on Tuesday 4 June at 21:00 BST.

On Friday 7 June Mishal Husain will moderate a BBC debate between leading figures from the seven biggest political parties in Great Britain. It will be broadcast from 19:30 BST.
