A man has been charged with kidnapping a woman who was forced into a car.
Sussex Police said the woman was kidnapped after she was asked for directions by a man at the junction of Selbourne Road and Church Road in Hove, East Sussex, at 02:00 BST on 5 August, before escaping a short distance later.
Cameron Boxall, 21, of Carden Hill, Brighton, is also charged with theft of a vehicle, theft from a vehicle, driving without a licence and insurance, making off without payment and possession of cannabis.
He is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
