High Wycombe BMW driver jailed after crashing into lamp-post

A man who drove a BMW into a lamp-post has been jailed for 14 months.

Cameron Saddique, 26, was also handed a driving ban for three years and seven months at Aylesbury Crown Court on 5 December after admitting one count of dangerous driving and another of possessing cannabis.

Thames Valley Police said the incident took place on the A404 in Wycombe on 14 September after Saddique failed to stop for police.

No-one was injured in the incident, police added.

PC Dan Morris said: “This incident could have had far more tragic consequences. Driving dangerously, like Saddique did, puts lives at risk.

“We urge all drivers to take responsibility behind the wheel, drive to the conditions and remember that your actions can have devastating impacts on others.”
