Hibernian have rejected an offer from Italian Serie A club Hellas Verona for striker Kieron Bowie.

The 23-year-old joined the Scottish Premiership club in summer 2024 and has now played 52 times for the Easter Road side, scoring 15 times.

Kirkcaldy-born Bowie, who won his first two Scotland caps last year, started his career with local club Raith Rovers before moving south to the Premier League with Fulham in 2020.

He failed to make the breakthrough into the first team at Craven Cottage and was loaned out to Northampton Town for two seasons before making the move back to Scotland.

Verona have enjoyed previous success when recruiting from Hibs.

Left-back Josh Doig, who has one Scotland cap, was sold to the Italian club in 2022 before being bought by Serie A rivals Sassuolo two years ago this month.
