Hibs ban fans group for three games after disorder

“The club has discussed this sanction with the SPFL [Scottish Professional Football League]. This three-match sanction follows a one-match ban issued as a result of an incident occurring earlier this season.

“The club’s investigation into the events at Tannadice is ongoing and we will continue to work with supporters, Police Scotland and Dundee United FC.

“Further action, including additional sanctions on an individual and/or collective basis, will be considered once that process is complete.

“The safety and well-being of every supporter who attends our matches is a top priority for the football club. No-one should feel unsafe or uncomfortable when supporting Hibernian and behaviour that puts others at risk is unacceptable.

“We thank our supporters for their continued backing and want to reassure them that the club will continue to address unacceptable conduct so as to not undermine the experience of the wider Hibs support.”
